"The MDI classes provided at our school have proven to be extremely useful in refreshing and clarifying concepts. Although many of the things we have seen are regarded as basic information, in truth it is these bases which we commonly forget. It is also very refreshing to be separated into groups with people from other grades. I believe that the MDI classes have been extremely successful and highly beneficial." --11th grade student
"MDI is not just about learning more, it is about giving you a second chance. For example, you are in 10th grade and you need to go through the same process for every single question that they give you in Math. However, while being in 6th grade, you were absent a whole week and didn't see the problem that you are working on right now. To not have this problem, MDI classes help you on the basic things that you forgot or never saw." --7th grade student
"Our recent implementation of MAP directed instruction has brought new enthusiasm to the math program for both teachers and students. While we have not yet measured progress with another round of MAP testing, the initiative has been a source of insight that will surely contribute to program improvement. We can't wait to see how it affects our scores!"

MDI is currently being piloted in the Elementary as well. MAP results will be available mid-Fall 2008
